Thinking Of Selling (whats it worth)

Thinking of selling the clio as im thinking of either a megane 225 or a V6.

What should i be asking for the car.

53 plate 172 iceberg silver

8500 miles on the clock, 9 months old. Oil changed at 4k intervals

Cup wheels, with 4 brand new exalto 2 tyres. (not even done 100 miles)

Factory fitted sat nav system (1500 from renault)

Profesionally Intsalled alpine sound system. 10 disc changer, alpine headunit, amp and alpine speakers all round.

Silver Fusion bulbs all round

Carbon Front Splitter

Cup Boot Spoiler

Lowered on Eibach pro springs

Hill power induction kit

Custom fitted stainless exhaust

Tar-Ox Fast Road Front discs and pads. (only done 300 miles)

The car has been well looked after and is in imaculate condition, apart from the kerbing on the alloys.

Im in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire not made my mind up if i want to sell yet, it all depends on what deal i can get on a V6.

I would take all the mods off but really cant be arsed with the hassel, im not to fussed about taking a loss on them. And i cant put the exhasut back as the bumber has been cut.

Got offered £10k from a dealer for my 53 172 (UK car) registered November last year. Had about 6500 miles on at the time. Would expect to get in the region of £10,800 from a private sale. Maybe.

If you want to sell your spoiler, splitter and wheels let me know. Looks like a 182 is out of the window for me, unless Renault do some more silly 30% friends and family discount.

looks like a v6 is out of the question for me, cant afford to take the 2k negative equity on the car

Yeah, the 182 has hit residuals of the 172 and Cup pretty hard. Ive lost £1,600 in less than a year!!

Sorry guys, but I hate to break this to you:

Its silly inexperienced people in the motor trade who have hit your residuals:

Average employee lasts 3 years.

A new car (like the 182) comes out, Worth 15k with metallic + cup.

As soon as its in the showroom, they sell them with stupid discount, and I have heard of some people getting them for just under 13k from local dealers.

Residuals drop VERY quickly. Employee leaves the trade, after buggering our residuals.

End of rant.
