*This is a nice story!!!*

  850 T5. mmmm Turbo!
A NY man retired. He wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal.
The modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 yrs.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs.
The house was sold to pay taxes.
There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place.
The NY guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him. So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders.......and cut thru the welds.
What was in the barn...............?

if someone knew they were there, theres no way they'd leave the cars sat there covered in bird s**t.

would be interested to know the value of those cars.

Why would you collect that many cars and leave them in a shitty barn that's open to birds and the elements?

Seen it before but well worth another look.

I love the idea of buying an old house and finding some treasure!! I also always wonder whats inside these derelict looking buildings / garages.

No where near as impressive as the story above but there is an old guy a few doors down from me who bought an astra brand new in the early 80's and hasn't been driven for about 20 years when he developed a dissability, apparently it is all locked up in his garage since but non of the locals can remeber (or are interested) in what model it is. I'd love to unearth it, imagine it is a mint 2.0 GTE, but it's probably just a 1.3 4 door..... in beige.
