This is Very Very Annoying!

My outside temp reader has broke and just flashes!

My mate pulled the left hand mirror in last and now all it will do is flash -30 at me constantly!

Is there anything i can do to maybe fix it or is there a fuse i can pull out to stop it flashing?

Any reply would be great!

There is a fuse but not sure which one - also, it may affect other parts of the car that are not broke if you take it out! How did you break it? Or is it the usual, broke on its own cozs its French situation!!

try and fix the sensor?

Might have took a wire out by pulling mirror! (the sensor is on the bottom of the passenger wing mirror)

It stopped workin when the mirror was pulled in fastwunz.

Daz - I know the sensor is the little bump at the bottom aint it. As for it comin discounected, would that be inside the mirror? Can i get to it some how?

Can i pull the little nob bit out of the mirror or summit?

Its got disconnected when the mirror was pulled in.

Nice touch Renault did was when they made the cars, they only made the wire long enough to reach if the mirror is out. Mine got disconnected when someone knocked my wing mirror in.....

I never fixed mine (mate did) but I presume you just take the mirror apart and re-connect it.

How can you take the mirror apart?

You only really need to take the three bolts off from inside the door, you should be able to pull the mirror off enough then to get to it.

take the bulb out

you can get to the wiring by unclipping the mirror cover. you may need to unbolt the complete mirror to get to the back of the connector.
