Those with a Ktec or Ktec style induction kit. (To do with headlights!)

Was wondering if anybody that runs a filter setup between the headlight and battery was having problems with the headlight and condensation? It could be a complete coincidence, but my headlight was fine before moving the filter, and on reflection have just realised that it only got condensation in after fitting it there. I have recently just installed brand new headlights, and after only a month the same side is full with condensation! :banghead:

Like i said, could be coincidence, and i can't think of a logical reason, but is anybody else having this problem?

I've read a few posts lately about the positive wire off battery rubbing on side of hose on induction kit. Is this true?

I've not had this problem at all. My positive cable is a million miles away from the positive.

Strange one then. I think there's two people who have noticed problem on here.

I have the problem with the hose rubbing the (+) cable and wiring harness bracket take the hose off and check it underneath, from the top it looks like there is loads of room.

As for the headlights i don't have a problem, is the rubber cap in place on the light?

i just fitted silver indicator bulbs so the most likely explanation is i didn't replace the cap properly I will check today

My passenger side gets a bit of condensation now and then but i think its probably the rubber cover not on properly.

My hose is also slightly worn through due to the + lead. Noticed that on sunday!
