Thoughts on Koni dampers

  Ph2 172 Track Toy
Hi guys.

Looking to buy a 172 to turn into a track toy. One thing I will want to change is the suspension and been looking at Koni dampers. I was thinking of marrying these up to either Eibach Pros or Eibach Sports.

The reason I'm looking at this over coilovers is basically cost. I can fit them myself without spending more money on setup other than a quick £25-£50 alignment check as apposed to what? £300 for corner weighting etc. Plus I'm not sure I want to spend over £1000 on just suspension for a car only costing me £1500-£2000 to start with.

They also come with a lifetime warranty, I've heard loads of people spending on rebuilds of various brands of coilover.

So basically anyone run them, heard owt good/bad etc?

Cheers
