Thoughts on this...

Just want to add some mild bass to my 197, not into great amounts of bass as prefere a rattle free car... I was gonna go the 6x9 route but was thinking i may as well keep my upgraded speakers in the car and slap a sub in... It's cheap and local to me... Would this be ideal for mild/clean bass or should i look elsewhere ?

Yes mate running an Aftermarket HU...

Like i say i dont want nothing thats gonna rip the car to pieces but enough to give a good B line..

go down the active-sub route fella! piss easy to install, take up less space and theres a few good ones out there that are pretty cheap too.

i used to have the Vibe CBR Active Evo 10". was perfect for what i wanted and sounded great to!
