Three network - GONE!!!

Finally got rid of my wanky Three network!

Signal is shocking, really annoyed me over the past year!

Either takes 3-4 attempts to dial out (just goes back to main screen)

Drops signal if you move more then 1 metre in any direction.

Shows network busy half the time!

Shocking!

Moved to Orange now, first timer so see how it goes!

where you live? ive had no problem, even when i go abroad, which is most of the year.

i live near sheff. its mainly at work in notts, i cant make and receive calls without having to go to certain areas to get a good signal.

also if im in the car it will drop on average 4 times in about 10 mins.

when i told the bloke at 3 he said yeh it does that quite often!

the main problem is the 3 network is crap and it uses O2 as a backup, which is much better, but it cuts calls and takes about 20 seconds to switch.

if im on the O2 signal the calls are great!

3 is s**t even where i live and in london, cant make a call, ant recieve, phone breaks down and the customers services is shocking

lol, orange have just signed a deal to offer the backup network to 3 instead of o2 so should be better soon as they will improve things.

I am annoyed with Orange at the moment though, I keep losing signal (its not my phone, everyone else on Orange does to round me) and I haven't had a signal since this morning!

Plus they have changed their talk plans to stupid animals and none of them are suitable to me, they are going to charge for free phone numbers, for itemised billing and for calls to answer machine and unless you opt for an 18 month contract you don't get a phone upgrade.

They have just lost me as a customer because of this!

iv signed up today and they gave free itemised billing.

the problem with 3 using any other service provider as backup is the fact it has to switch, meaning dropped calls, and 20 second delays. O2 network is v good.

fingers crossed orange will be ok for me :S

lol, its not crap, read the orange website and their new contracts, itemised billing will be charged for, i think one of the plans includes itemised billing as one of its features.

tbh, ANYTHING is better than 3, so should be an improvement lol

my sister had major problems with 3 network in & around Sheffield too..
things can only get better

thing is three isnt the best network, but it is certainly the cheapest. doesnt really bother me, although people ringing me get tetchy. lol. Really, i dont find it that bad and have been happy with it.

This keeps happening 2 me where I live , but for 02 customers, right pain in the bum! All my friends are on 02 and its a nightmare on a night out , we can never find each other lol!

Ive never had a single problem with three to be honest! Has alot to do with the area u live in not just the network! You can have good signal with a network such as three in one area and a rubbish signal in the same area with someone such as orange!

AAAHhHHHHHHHH, I see, cool, yes it is crap!

I think I might move to Vodafone, which 3 is cheap, i like good service and for the past 9 years Orange have given me that but they now seem to be going the other direction so i think its time ofr a move.
