Im not sure but didnt K tec get their 5 Turbo down to Sub 5 sec 0-60. Agreed there is a little more skill/concentration involved to launch effectively with all that power but if you can do it youll be flying.

Isnt the torque of 280-300bhp of TURBO power going to be different to the NA BTCC cars though.

well when i, and 3 other ppl spoke to bbt at donny last year and i asked them if they had any probs with boxes, clutches, driveshafts, or anything else, the reply was "no mate weve never ghad any probs"

asked about r&d and "its something thats not required because nothing is put under any more stress or strain than normal"

yeah rite

i walked away rather quickly laffin, after having heard how most of their upgrades til then had been eating clutches n boxes n driveshafts lol

Think the fastest ever quarter mile in a gt turbo is 12.62!! this is dd autosports jobbie and gt tuning demo R5 managed a very close 12.64

both these babies were running over 300 bhp

i have never seen another front wheel drive car with only 220 bhp beat these times

well cant speak for everybody esle but bb do different stages of tune. when i wanted 350bhp they informed me of the problems with transmission. with there 200bhp conversion i dont suppose it is a problem. any way my experiance with andy at bb has all been positive. if you made all you decisons based purley on a chat at donny last year then all i can say is you,ve probeley missed out on working with one off the best renault tuners in operation at the moment. along with nick at hill power and dave at k-tec these are the most knowlegdeable renault tuners in the uk.

oh and when sunny did his runs wasnt he using a boost controller which had set boost for each gear to stop him spinning up ??? so that he could get rolling before the boost really kicked in ???

we are all entitled to our own opinions but id rather scrap my car than take it to bb i asked for a 35 m drop at the rear, i quote "yeah thats 1 click mate" so i go to drive it of the ramp and it wont go more like 80 mm. but hey they could of got that wrong. then when i wanted my cams timmened they did what i asked but then when they checked the fuel pressure they split a fuel pipe whilst removing it, of course i never knew this until i was home sum hours drive and a full take of optimax later, and guess what it was spilt really close to the cam cover so i rand reno for a pair of new pipes and they wanted over a hundred quid so i thought id ring bb and tell them what had happened , there answer was "yeah bring it back we will fix it " er how do i get it there ? " bring it back and we will sort it ". so i reasoned can you send me sum braided stainless fuel pipe and il fix it my self, ok that will be £55 yeah like f**k!!!!!!!!!!!. so i rang a friend in the motorsport game £15 for 8 meters, done the job myself. as far as iam concerned do the job take the money dont wanna know any more.
