Throttle bodies genuine cost to build 250 bhp n/a

Hi guys
Im thinking about building a monster n/a phase1 and trying to find some figures what sorta stuff I would need where to buy it from what not to get and any advise welcome the reason I don't want turbo is because iv had turbo n prefer n/a for flat out racing

Build yourself? As said, 240 is more achievable. If you got someone to do it for you it's probably going to be 7-8k as it will need forged high comp bottom end, better cams and valves, maybe some head work. Plus it will obviously need aftermarket management.

10k with buying everything new and doing it yourself except machining, your in solid lifter power there at 250 and possibly even at 240.

Do a Honda K20 conversion with breathing mods. Probably cheaper and much more reliable than a 250bhp F4R.

with a bit more messing it would've done 245, maybe a few more, 242 ain't bad though

That engine (without the ITB's), just a bare engine, is probably around £5K
