Is it possible to fit t/b,s to a phase 1 nicely, by this i mean, have an inlet tract long enough to make it worth while, keep the bonnet catch, and have a proper filtration system, dont want 4 socks sticking out the front, thanks.
you can't fit a decent induction length and filter with the slam panel in there. If you compromise like that, you're as good as fitting them for the sake of saying you have them, rather than for the improvement they will make
It is but you'd probably end up spending a good penny in the process unless you were any good at fabricating it yourself, and you'd still probably be down on torque. It's more difficult on the ph1 due to the bonnet being lower as well. I wouldn't entertain it at all
I had a tdf short throttle kit fitted and upto 6k my standard car made more power AND torque standard, dont bother unless you want to fit bonnet catches and the longest inlets you can.
RS2 would be a good way to improve the inlet without needing to lose the slam panel, simpler management wise than bodies too as it will run on the standard ECU still (but will need a remap to suit)
