Throttle Bodies?

  '03 MCS, MKV Ed30
I know i will need a remap, but is it possible to fit motorbike throttle bodies?

If so, what else would i need and how hard would it to be to get them working?

Whats the pros/cons of fitting them?

What would i be expecting power gains wise?

Cheers,

James.

(P.S - I have already searched and found none of the above information ;))

general rule for anything like this (ie not designed for this use) is that it can be made to work, but you need to work it out. Using anything not off the shelf is a rarity so you're unlikely to find much, if any clio specific info, but there's thousands of threads on hundreds of forums about fitting bike bodies on cars.

IMO, to do it well, you'll put in more effort, and similar amounts of money to buying jenveys. However I realise that the doing is part of the fun otherwise I wouldn't have upside down toyota throttle bodies on a remachined honda manifold on my mk1

You will need more than a remap, standalone ECU time. Trying to fudge a MAP signal to retain the stock ECU is rubbish and it'll drive poorly

I run blackbird bodies on mine, use standalone as Danny said. They'll need some machining and ways of how you plan to fit them the a manifold other then sloppy samco piping that you see most times.

Powerwise mine was 198 on 97 Ron the best we have over here in n.i

Either you need to be able to do it yourself or it's gonna cost as much as normal, mine was done under 1k Inc mapping for everything.
