Throttle position sensor

was having problems with my car today so called the AA man out
he sed i need a new Throttle position sensor
anyone got a ruff idea how much one of these will cost me?

are u sure thats correct because some 1 sed to me its expensive
unless they was talking bout the fitting of it as well

car going into limp mode?? low revs??

well i tryed to drive an the car was just juddering a lot wouldnt really rev at all no
just about managed to get to 15mph

try this it worked for me when the diagnostics picked up the same errror on mine,

theres a wee black metal cover at the back of the engine, its the ecu cover take it off and throw it away lol i rubs on the wires causing many problems, worked for me and my cars been running fine since april

lol but im sure normally if somthing has a cover then its covering it 4 a reason....

so it starts,idles,but no revs?
yep sounds like throttle position.
could be bodie(manifold)end or pedal end!

if so might be worth having a look inside?
for the sake of £250!
maybe ebay for a new one?

its mainly plastic IIRC on the 1.2 16V, worth a go i guess
