Ticking on headphones

Recently I've noticed that between tracks/quiet music I get a ticking noise from my headphones. Only happens when listening to MP3's on my work PC and it's driving me nuts!

Any idea on how to get rid of it?

basically id imagine the sound card is built into the motherboard ?? it just electrical noise badly built pc with cheap components most probably dell or hp lol

Good call on the Dell PC... Oh well... Push to get a Mac I suppose

yeah other ways replace psu, new motherboard and seperate sound card
