Tilt Shift shots

I had a go at doing so fake tilt shift pics in CS3 a few weeks ago, the results weren't great so I left it alone.

last night I thought I'd have another go at it so of I went to google some tutorials and I found a great site that does it for you (nice and easy) the results where OK
This was my first attempt

not bad mate.

I've seen some cool ones were they've used a wide track day/pit line shot and made it look like Scalextric!
 
They seem to work better from a looking down perspective, although the vee does look quite miniature

my efforts, the police suv would look better with no people in, the people look miniature in the machu picchu pic and the boat looks the best i think.

As said, the pic has to be pointing down to get the right perspective really.
 
How do you save the photos once edited it ?

that looks cool, works best with a small target in the centre of a much bigger picture.

also love this one, looks lke a model village baseball stadium!

Ive got loads of shots from USA that have great potential, i cant quite get it right though. All of the above are form san fran, last one was boat going under the gate bridge.

It is the river Greta up in the lakes just under that bridge witht he nice wave/hole photo says 19th Jan 2008 which sounds about right.

I didnt paddle it that day as it was a bit small so i took my camera for a walk most of the people in the shot our from our club.
