time for something different

after owning 5 172/182,s i wanted something a bit different so after doing a deal with steve at r sports cars in london i decided on this baby ...1 owner from new serious amounts of history , not mint but at 10 years old extremely good condition .. i asked my mate to go and get it and bring it back to n.ireland for me .. the car drives amazing and actually feels quicker than any of my previous 182,s (no idea why) but here you go

how it was in add

home at my house after 400 miles and a special treat for it (speedline 2118)

not overly fussed on painted bump strips so i got a set of phase 2 ones with bullets as i think it smartens it up a tad

vinyl on the bumper to hide a few flakes lol

just put a set of 8k hid,s in origional matts and going to put the eibachs in at the weekend , also had a full dent removal tonight ...hopefully my new steering wheel will arrive tomo

Saw original ad and car did look in vgc. Glad you got one in end mate. Tbh though due to condition, I'd have kept it bog STD other than subtle lowering etc. F1's ftw IMO!!

Thre original bump strips look great in black, the 2.0 badge doesn't suit the ph1.

The rest is nice tho!

it wouldn't shock me as i think on paper and in practice they should be?

Colour code the side strips. Doesn't suit being black.

Not keen on the vinyl either.

dropped 30mm on eibach prolines just enough for me tho seems to be settling a bit better/lower now

that looks wicked, are those speedlines 15"? reason i ask is i 'was' set on eibach sportlines, when funds get there, as i wanted a signifcant drop with the 15" oz f1's i've got, but those prolines look spot on height wise.

the origional side strips will go back on once painted as will the oz,s when theyre refurbed ive only had the car a week and a half so gimme a chance ..im sure it will be more acceptable in a few weeks time

i like playing around with stuff to see whats its like and what reaction it gets just ph1,s are quite rare in northern ireland so seing one with subtle mods is nice imo thus the reason i always wanted a ph1 i personally think they look beefier! i liked what i saw in the first pic and dont really want to mess the car up ...anything that has been done so far can be put back in minutes ....
