Timelapse Night Drive

  1.6 Ford Focus
Not necessarily Clio related but then it was recorded in mine haha. I found something similar before so I gave it a try myself. It was a 16 min drive home, only its played quick enough to shorten the entire drive to 1 min 20 seconds.

(Play on youtube in small player size for slightly better quality)

Excuse the terrible quality, you can blame that on youtube as the original video and the one I uploaded to facebook are perfect quality.

Cool idea.

I like the thought of making one. Maybe one over a long distance or one with plenty of landmarks.

CHRIST!!! How fast where you going ?!?!?

Only joking ;) nice video, Bit boring if im honest, Could be cool on a nice summers evening drive though in HD or something.

Nice one - I took the camcorder out the last time I went for a drive but it got recorded over lol

What's the music you put on? :)

Yeah I'd agree with that. Better location and better quality video and it could be good. As I said somewhere with some landmarks would be good.

^ serious? no one told me. haha

Haha yeah, its a pretty good video and stills camera. Really good image stabiliser as well.

Just go into the camera and, depending how you have it set up, the option will either be at the top of the little square tabs on the right of the screen or if not, just go into the options and select image mode/video mode.

I was bein sarcastic my friend.

Music was tedious. I only watched 5 seconds before I was pummelled to death by the bassline.

Bit boring though, would be interesting in clear daylight with landmarks as already remarked.

Really cool, the roundabout part was cracking.

Odd to see the roundabout bit like that, reminds me of the lottery where they have the tubes with balls in, and a ball can only fall into the pipe if theres a space.

If I did one of these it would basically be me dodging parked cars and bouncing over pot holes.

What did you use to record that then?

I used my Nokia N95 and stuck it to the windscreen using a GPS holder.

Turn beat lock off on vdj ;)
(Could be the vid quality)

Whats VDJ?

I used Sony Vegas to edit the video and the music was just copied from Gatecrashers Club Anthems CD and inserted into the video.

Good vid, i like the idea. Look forward to seeing some more.

Thanks.

I was going to get another tonight but was in a rush to get home... More on the way though! Im going to try and stick it to the rear window facing forward through the seats and looking out the front.

Really cool, the roundabout part was cracking.

The roundabout bit is probably the best part in my opinion.
