timing belt kit with tensioners for 172

any idea where the best place is to purchase one? got 73k on it now. i guess i need to change the lot and not just the belt? what should i expect to pay?

72k service should include cambelt as well, and plugs iirc, i was told around £700

700 for a timing belt change!!! LOL who are they kidding, it cant be that bad a job, I know a mechanic at my local dealer who says he's got it down to about a 3-4 hour job @ £65/hour, wheres the rest of the money goin??

Take it to a back street garage, £700 is ridiculous.

I cant see the kit being too expensive try GSF

you need the special cam locking tools i believe, take it to Rentech, GDI, Hill power, K-tec, BBPT etc
