ok, having to replace a ball joint soon - so might aswell check this out aswell.
The other night i was accelerating hard (well its a 1.2 d7f, as hard as it would go anyway... lol), and noticed the engine sound change at around 4000 rpm til 4500rpm-ish to a tinny sort of revving sound, as opposed to the usual deep note. Its done it every since at the same rpm.
Standard exhaust system, and it definetly sounds like its coming from the engine.
Any idea's anyone?
