tip for gearknob insert removal?

how do you remove the gear knob insert?

any tips people i dont want to break the clip or something??

i want to paint it the same colour as the dash strips in my car

anyone took thier's off?

i've got the replace stickers from i think it wat matt_trev? cant mind lol

Just lift it out with a small screwdriver.

does it have a clip like the dash strips and steering wheel bit that clips in??

or is it glued on?
