To Buy, Or Not To Buy?!

Hi Guys,
I'm awaiting the arrival of my 182 and i've been going over a few ideas in my mind of how to add a few nice mods to it once i get hold of it. I've seen a lot of good reports and feedback on the Viper induction kit and this is what my question is about.
Is it worth me getting one? I mean as i live in Dubai and the avg temp during summer is in the high 30's centigrade will i seen any benefits from ramming in hot air? I've seen the colder the air the better, so would warm air make it pointless in having one? I'm sure this is going to sound pretty stupid but i thought i'd ask anyway.

Interesting question, not sure myself.

I'd imagine that the hotter the outside temperature is, then the engine bay will get even hotter again, so I suppose the induction kit witk 'cold' air feed will benefit performance, just perhaps not as much as when the outside temperature is colder... ?

with the weather being so hot over there id doubt you'd see any difference, but it would give it a nice throaty roar!!! would be interesting to see if it did make a difference though

Thats what i was thinking, would be nice to just have a nice note to the car as i've heard the standard noise isnt all that loud or throaty? Also looking for a nice exhaust for my soon to be 182. Any decent suggestions?

i would usually say prospeed custom exhaust but your in dubai so thats out of the question seen as they are in cardiff!! lol

probably a magnex they are good! check pics of Maz's 182 to get an idea of what it will look like!

with temperatures like that with an induction kit you would probably lose performance, the only benefit would be sound.
