car looks lush fella! i suppose you wouldnt be able to lower it much anyway? looks fit like that :)

  Chocolate Bar™
ironically does need a v6 spoiler lol, agree with the carbon pods, but love the wheels think they really suit it :)

this is my concern as the coilies were ordered before the 19's went on...and i didnt expect the gap to be so minimal..last thing i want is rear wheels smacking up onto the 1/4..

as i stand if i cancel my order i lose 25% :(

  RS Megane DCi 175
That is a beast!
I can't imagine what a coilovered Vee would look like - probably the only clio that doesn't need lowered out of the box!

  Turbos.
Just buy them and sell them on if needs be...

I think you need a bigger spoiler, is the Mk2 V6 one different, kicks up a bit at the end?

:S 18's mk2 Vee rims would look better.

R-tec had those rims on there demo car...

Agreed those wheels dont do it any favours......

  Civic Type-R
Bit of a beast that!! How come it doesnt have a V6 spoiler tho? Looks the same as mk 172 spoiler :) Not too sure on the wheels, but apart from that it look sweeeet.

mark1 v6's didnt have an enlarged spoiler.

id put the standard wheels or mk2 v6 wheels on and the coilovers. dont like those wheels, sorry.

yeah mk1 Vee's came with standard size spoiler from 172..

nearly went for the option of new mk2 wheels..then though ahh b****cks nobody would even notice id changed them..i really do love the wheels so they are staying and they are also very lightweight..plus the huge wrench is awesome ;)

im looking to fit a mk2 tailgate with the new style boot lock, so this is when i would be fitting a trophy spoiler..does anyone know the RRP on these?? also..i take it i would not need the short struts as the ariel is at the front??

have been on the phone numerous times to david at K-tec about the situation..he has offered me the chance to not lose any money and jump up to KW variant 3's which can actually sit at std height if you want..the H&R have a minimum drop of 30mm..which could be pushing my luck! Although he has said i could adjust the camber to tuck the wheels up in the arch..

he also said this would help the handling is that right? or would it f**k it up completely!??

Personally think all V6's should be left box standard, there gorgeous like that.

yeah setting greater camber will tuck the wheels in at the front but u may have rubbing in other areas in the arch.

deffently get the geometry set up properly as said also lots of camber isnt always good on the road i was told!

woah what the f**k colin!

what happened to you seeing sense??

i took everyones advice and cancelled them ages ago!
the vee needs a multi spoke design to suit it

guy..yes ive priced up mk2 wheels from renault and also know of a set going for a good price with good tyres

I thought the Trophy/Vee spoiler only had an issue with the aerial as the back-side of it isn't any different...?

Bit off topic, but I'm just thinking how good would the Megane F1 wheels look on that?! Not sure of stud-pattern etc but if it goes I would love to see it.

im not selling standard rims...so the car will be sold as it came from renault!

I believe in making a car "mine" and i love these rims the overall reaction has been superb but you cant please all the people all the time..it wouldnt be any fun if that was the case..

think i will ring david tomorrow and cancel the coilovers..will put money onto mk2 spoiler/tailgate, car already has PiperX viper evo and janspeed backbox also..

here is a sort of front on view...

I think coilovers would be a touch, just dont wind them down too much. Mk2 V6 spoiler would finish it off nicely. Think the MK2 tailgate will turn it into a wannabee. Defo would look nice though.

Just out of interest, would a normal clio tailgate go on, looks pretty much identical.

i think it is just the normal tailgate...i just wonder if the mk1 and mk2 latches are in the same bit..i.e the part on the car where the boot lock clicks onto

^^ iirc the boots are different.

The wheels have grown on me.... didnt like at first... but no im feeling them a bit more:)

Not keen on them myself. As said above, the 18's off the Phase 2 V6 would be my choice...

...but nice one for doing something different.
