Tom tom sat nav????

I've been asked by a friend of the family to get buy a sat nav, so that he can give it to his son for christmas. He said that the price isn't an issue he just wants to get the best sat nav/camera detection he can. I've got a road angel navigator and wouldn't recommend one of those, but i don't know a lot about tom toms etc, what should i get???

It should do yes. I have the 710 and that does.
