i've installed an external gps antenna, but its still not picking up signal?? what am i doing wrong?

what are you using, pda? tomtom unit, navman......

You will more than likely have to go into settings and change the reciever to whatever it is. Probably just the generic one set with a baud rate of 4800 iirc.

found the problem!!! the wire was snagged by a bolt, had to cut the wire and solder it back together

it works!!! finally!
