tone of engine changed..

I may be going mad but for some reason I feel that the engines tone is different than yesterday.
Sounds higher pitched??
I did change paper filter to a piper cross one though but don't think that would cause it to sound higher?

Also feels ever so slightly slower on acceleration too but that again may be my mind playing tricks.

plugged It into RStuner and no codes being shown.

Am I just mad or would my ears be telling me something?

It's booked in for that the day I return from holiday anyway due to a MPG issue.

Will let them know what I am hearing too then.

had a similar thing thought it was me but the timing had slipped and it did it again.

if you have chance look at the belts and have a visual check see if they are ok
