too much torque?

a friend of mine has a supercharged 172 ph1 still being tested and wondered if the torque you see in the graph isn't too much for just 0,3 bar
he has an eaton m62, cat cams 421 and 182 manifold

that looks mental! Huge supercharger! no such thing as too much torque :rasp: (sorry i know this isnt any help)

is that at flywheel?

280Nm = 206lb

assuming it really has 0.3bar at that rpm...

206/1.3 = ~158 lb Normaly aspirated

does that sound high?

he is afraid to go higher than that (torque wise), the gbox could blow up..
although there are some clios runnin higher values with the std gbox

if you put it that way it sounds good! but the fear of blowing the gearbox is still there.. I think he should take the brave pill and give the thing some stick!
