Just be careful on the roads...don't be trying to impress your mates in the first month or two of owning the car, particularly if your not familiar with a fast hatch. Great cars, great handling but they do have their limits, and until you recognise those limits - i personally would advise you to be careful cause the roads are still shite.

Other than that, enjoy the car and wlecome to the club.

As said above, take it easy for a while and then lit rip when the roads are a lot dryer. Don't try to impress to much cos it will end up in a ditch or a lampost or something if your not too careful. Good luck and enjoy !

^^ Yup, as everyone has said. Take it easy on the loud pedal around corners because it does have a tendancy to bite back in this weather!! You will lovely the car! No horror stories please!

  172 Cup
I'm in the process of getting used to driving my Cup. Coming from a 1.3 Ford Ka it certainly is a power increase.

I must say I have hit the limiter a couple of times because I'm used to spending a LOT more time in each gear to get the most out of it.. but the Cup is at 6k+ revs before you can say 'Who goes there.'

Just a matter of getting used to it and not showing off.
