Took the shopping car for a run.

Car  172, Tiguan
Had a nice run out to the Corbridge 'Fastlane' show today. Good enough excuse to give the car a run for the first time in over a month. Nice to see a few very clean Meganes and a few Clio's as well.

Sorted out my arch gap issue yesterday as well!

Good to meet you today Jon, liking the Clio mate, shame there was a bit too much traffic about on run there!

im 19, and normally love cars like this, but even i think its abit chavvy imo! theres too much going on, you dont know what too look at, and that ginormous sun strip! :nono:

That looks like the ULTIMATE chav wagon pmsl

iz race car?

:)

In fairness, on the way back from Tewkesbury this morning I got passed by a 172 Cup with an uncountable amount of graphics up the side. All you knew for sure is that the car is defiantely a RENAULT CLIO RENAULTSPORT CUP CLIO RENAULT 172 CUP SPORT RENAULT. But, confusingly, the exhaust was standard.... right down to a stuffed hanger so it was almost dragging on the floor.

In comparison, Jon's example here is OEM+

It's a trackday car( until I find the funds to go racing) so I'm not to fussed what it looks like. I'm running nearly 3 degrees of camber so it rarely goes out on the road :)

Good to meet you mate!

Btw it needs the huge sunstrip because the seats are mounted to the floor, there aren't any runners. Also the rollcage means I can't run sun visors etc.

Was good to see your car today. Front camber is mental haha. The way we came back from the show was much quicker than what it was going. That ambulance on the a69 followed me most of the way home.

Much better way back, I think it took half the time! Cheers mate.

Camber in the air as well!

Would be a failure, it's interfering with the swept area so would fail an MOT.

Would be an interesting roadside stop if the 5-0 insisted you remove it meaning you'd end up driving direct into bright sunlight.

I always worked on the basis that if I was stopped there'd be some understanding, that they'd see that technically it is illegal, but with it fitted the car is far safer than without.

Looks good Jon, like it all.
