Top engine mount too high

Hello everyone,

Just bought a top engine mount for my mk2 172 clio.
Bought a Kangoo mount, as it is suppose to fit.

When removing the old mount, and trying to fit the new one I noticed my new mount middle part, is hight by about 1 cm.

Is it because my old mount is weary or is there a different between the mounts?!

The clio one would cost 160 pound. This one cost me 35.

Aren't they all the same mounts anyway?
As fred said - i imagine it'll be fine once the weight of the engine is on it, not to mention the fact it is brand new and not totally shagged through years of use!
