what can i say, there top blokes, i managed to munch a head gasket doing a scooby and ended up in dire need of a rebuild. phoned around couldnt get it done anywhere for months, but the torsion boys came good. engine is now being rebuilt, low compression etc, and will absolutly fly when it comes back. i cant say a bad word about um, if you have anything renault related need doing, give um a call.

am most probly getin my RSI lowered at torsion tuning in witham in next couple of weeks

hopefully i can get em 2 do it a bit cheaper than the first quote they gave me of £140 though

i have a lot of respect for them too,

my car has been there twice now, the 1st time for a new clutch & a service.

then it was there the other week for a new engine, as my one fcked up the other month,

all in all they are good lads, and really know what they are on about.

IIRC Steves got a T28 and charge cooler and it goes nicely!

Didnt you say it was in need of a re-build when you showed me it in Southend though?

as far as rebuild goes its having a lightened and balanced knife edge crank and flywheel, gas flowed and ported cylinder head, low compression pistons, h/l springs, new timing chain, new cam and load of other stuff. itll be a racing machine. should have power steering sorted as well. price wise, im not going to quote figures to you but its in the thousands!!!!!. and before anyone asks, i know i can just get head gasket done, but engine was sounding like it needed a rebuild. i just hadnt realised it needed it this quickly.

thats put my mind at rest...getting my boot solenoid done there and now theres a few more than just alex singing their praises ill get down there sharpish
