I need to touch up a couple of stone chips on my bumper - I was planning on picking up a touch up pen from Renault. Does this come with a lacquer as well, or will I need to buy one separately?
Secondly, is there anywhere better/cheaper to get the paint?
Can get it from halfrauds which comes with primer, paint and lacquer. Just av a scan at ur paint code on the inside of ur door an look in the book at halfords for the colour name unless u know it.
Not sure of the price though cause i robbed myne lol
Forget these kits with the primer and lacquer . Get yourself an aerosol mixed up in your colour , spray a little bit in the lid and use a c0cktail stick or fine artists brush .
Cheers for the link, I was under the impression that only the Renault supplied/branded paint would be the correct match (or rather the best match). Is this the case?
The Renault supplied touch up sticks and a fine artists brush will work fine. On small chips you can get way without using the lacquer just use the colour.
