I know its not the famous cup racer tow eye but i much prefer it.

We had some tow eyes made up for the track car, we had a extra one made up each for the road cars.
I painted the pins today while carl is at work and quickly took some snaps.

I think they look ace and much prefer the shackle to the loop.

Not my best photography but you get the idea.

now thats a proper safe tow eye, much better than the walk by it and "OH f**k IVE DISLOCATED MY KNEE CAP!" type, yes that has happened to me!

now why cant Renault do it like this for standard.

Tell me about it, and the amount of times i think to myself, watch the tow eye, and i still end up crippling myself!!

Where did you get the back bar from ?

Is it just a standard towing eye butchered with a hole drilled through it for the shackle ?

And doesn't the shackle move around and hit of the grill and paintwork around it ?
