TowBar for 172 Cup

Does anyone know if you can get a tow-bar for a 172 cup...

I was thinking about buying a caravan for the summer... take it to north wales and things...

Renault doesnt do one, and theres a reason for that, cos its a performance car, leave the caravan towing for the Cossie blokes who set the speed records for towing them LoL

Anyway, can you really imagine what what happen if you had a caravan on the back????? the car aint specd for it, brakes etc are built for the weight of the car, no more mate.......hehehehehe next youll be saying you wanna take it to SantaPod to 1/4 mile ROFL

Im a fraid to say that I actaully have a tow bar on my clio.....no ball, just a bike carrier mount, looks ugly as sh|t, took me a year to decide to put it on, but didnt want to ruin the interior with a muddy mountain bike anymore.

Im pretty sure renault do a whole range for towing and the general outdoors, i have a little booklet with my owners manual.

y0z, nooooo. Get yourself an old Ford Granada or something if you want to tow a caravan. Just think of the excesive wear and tear to the Cups brakes and clutch.

If you look in your manual you will find that you CANNOT fit a towbar to any 172

Had a quote last night for it - £750 so its going in on saturday to be fitted. Titanium tow bar with platinum double butted welding.

I have had in anodised in Blue so it doesnt stand out much.

I am considering going for the caravan towing land speed record also...
