Towing a 197

Is it possible to tow a Clio 197 with the push start button.

How would I do this so the sterring lock doesn't come on? Also is it possible to try and push start it? I have tried jump starting it cause I think the battery is dead, but it didn't work.

I think you need to insert the key in the slot in the dashboard to override it.

Got hold of a slow charger now, so will charge it for the rest of the day, and if that don't work will tow it in the middle of the night to the renault garage.

Will try it with the keycard in, worse case scenario is going round a corner and the steering lock comes on.

Slow charge didn't work. Engine is turning over, but doesn't start.

I have AA, but no home start so may phone and upgrade.

Renault garage is 10 mins down the road, but probably 20mins towing.
