Toxic Fume Warning Light!

Hello,

I hope someone can help I am new to cliosport.net today, I have had a terrible weekend with my 172 after a good drive car wouldn't start leaving me stranded, battery gave good V reading but changing it anyway and it seem to solve it. Today after cleaning it the electrical fault light was on and the car wouldn't go above 3000rpm and toxic fuel light on.

Electric fault light off now but toxic fuel light stayed on car seems to run ok.

Has anyone had these problems before, what is the best way to turn the warning light off?

Sounds like the car went into limp
mode.

I'd get it checked out asap

Thanks for replying think I will do, it is running now without issues i.e. misfire but light is still on, I am gonna change the plugs as not sure when they were done last do you think it could help?

get it on a code reader asap.

it's most likely not the plugs.
