Toyos worn...need new tyres...which ones

Hey guys,

I need to replace my tyres on the 172. The Toyo Proxes T1-S lasted me approx 6000miles which is poo but they are very good, grippy tyres.

Now,.....do I get 2 new proxes (found some for £97.99 each in 205/40/17s) +£5ea fitting

Or do I get 2 Yoko AVS Sport in the same size (£80 each including fitting)?

Anyone had experience with the Yokos?

I got a new toyo proxe for £70 on Saturday, from Wheelmania.

Stick to the Toyos!

Shop around and youll find them cheaper.

But...

a) they dont make S-02s anymore
b) they are expensive
c) they are very soft (softer then my Toyos)


When my S-02s went bald (in about 4k miles) I switched to Toyos which were a lot cheaper and almost as good, plus they last longer.
