A friend of the family asked me if I could have a go at tidying up her other halves car as it had some deep scratches on the bonnet and as its a learner car it had also seen its fair share of bushes down the sides. He had no idea where the deeper scratches came from and some I could only make less noticeable but he was more than happy with how it turned out.
As it was dropped off
The bonnet!
Wheels cleaned with WW Hot Wheels and G101
The car was then soaked in Rapid Dirt Shifter, 2BM with AF Lather, Tardis, Iron-X and Clayed with megs clay.
Paintwork
The car was then taped up and I started on the bonnet. Used a combination of Menzerna 203s and106FA to remove the majority of scratches. The rest of the car was polished using a combination of the same pair on the worse areas such as the doors and wings which had quite bad marks from the hedge rows and Megs Ultimate Polish on other areas where just a few swirls needed taking car of. Didn't get a chance for any 50/50's as he needed the car back later that day so time was not on my side.
Plastics were dressed with AF Revive
Windows cleaned with 3M
Waxed with DJ Purple haze
The finshed pictures
Thanks for looking
