Track Car - Stripped + moving shots...

was bored so me and my brother decided to go out and get some photos of the track car. Its had a few new additions aswell as some stripage.

*New* Cup racer look-a-like tow eye's

Fully stripped interior with new corbeau forza's and sabelt harnesses

Painted floor with grip tape

Passenger footrest (made from aluminium so super light)

No radio so instrument panel instead

new stickers

We had it build up by a guy we know, we showed him some pictures of the one Burp had. But he felt it would be easier and stronger mounting it to the back of the bulk head.
Its is stupidly light aswell, made from 3mm Aluminium and just bend for the strenght.

Basically a large bolt machined and cleaned, they are 22mm at the head, this is them taped back to the 16/18mm that the original tow eye is.
With a large eye shackle instead of a ring (like the cup racer ones). the shackle should be alot stronger than a rewelded ring.

Meaning that they should be connected to teh rollbar or teh floor directly behind the driver and not to teh side like yours are. This is to avoid twisting of the driver's upper body during an accident. This is not a critique and feel free to ignore me but i felt i should tell you because it migth be a safety issue.

Tru but as long as the angle between the spine and the belt is less than 45 degrees you will be safe (FIA regs), yes ideally they should be connected to the cage.

They were originally mounted to the floor, but due to the angle they were at the were pusshing my shoulders in to the seat and causing me to have a real back and shoulder problem after only bineg in the car for 5 minutes. This is partly due to the fact i hav 98 percentile UK shoulder bredth and with.
But where they are now is safe and secure aswell as comfortable.

How do you know it will be strong enough to tow with? :S

For a start its a towing shackle then the bolt was made by a top notch engineering company out of a hardened steel rod ect. It sould be stupidly strong.

thanks for all the comments

its got Catcams, SS exhaust with decat, induction kit located behind headlight where the battery should be.

its booked in for RStuning on saturday to let Paul work his magic and hopefully get a good power output from it cannot wait!

last time it was RR'd at 183bhp and that was majorly overfueling and killing the power after 5k so would hope to see 190bhp+
