Tracking on 197

Hi there!

Recently decided to treat myself and left a deposit on a used 197 in black.
The car is in fantastic condition inside and out, except that the front left wheel had obviously been kerbed.
When I took it out for a testdrive it seemed to pull to the left a fair amount and quite noticeably so while braking (when letting go of the wheel). The garage assured me it would simply be down to tracking/balancing or even just tyre pressure.
However, am a little worried that the kerbing may have done more than just damage the alloy...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

hi mate just get it tracked it will tell you everything you need
to know bout how damaged the suspension is, if any.
take it to a garage you can trust after the dealer looks at it.
then if there is anything wrong you can take it back to the dealer
and make them fix it.

Yep, think that's what I'll be doing.
Was just wondering if there's anyhting specific I should be aware of.

Picking it up tomorrow :)

nothing specific mate.like a said the tracking will tell you all.
obv things like if it still pulls then you will know that it isnt right still.
but you can get any car to drive straight by tracking it.
it might still have damaged suspension.
i think its just the tracking imo.the wheel would need to be bad
to damage the suspension not just kerbing.
if you can get it quickly tracked at a trusted garage that aint going to
try and charge you for stuff it doesnt need you'll be grand.
hope this helps you.
anything else that you were wondering?

The garage I'm buying it from assured me they'd sort out the tracking before I picked it up, so if it's still not right tomorrow I'll know that it's not just the tracking, or that the garage was talking rubbish.

Fingers crossed everything will be cool tomorrow!
