Track'ish **** non sport 1.6

Time to post up a a few pics and info of my pride and joy!*
After getting rid of my 1.2 a few months back, I got a 1.6 16v in the same colour.. Silver.
First I took my standard seats out and put my omp recliners in..

Also put my blue 2" 4point omp harnesses in.*
Then I polished up the k-tec show cage up..

Then I fitted it..

Then I picked up my 172 rear bumper and cup spoiler..

Sprayed! Cost £290 all on all to buy and respray..

Worth it I must say!

Then I put the speedlines on and I loved them! Still in 2 minds about white on silver though!*

After 2 days of sheltered driving as I didn't want anyone to see it looking like a monster truck, my coilovers come and I got them straight on!*

I've got 15mm hubcentrics on the front to stop the wheels rubbing on the coilovers.*

Then I got round to fitting my TRS tow strap and RS Grill..

The grill makes a non sport look so much better and meaner IMO.

Few weeks back I spent £110 on a carbon skinning kit. Had a go at carbon laying my dash strips..

Looks the dogs! Also done the inside pillar trims and the interior wing mirror covers which looks good too! Here's a pic in the proccess..

Will hopefully be doing other bits including my rear bumper insert but it's hard work for a novice!

Last weekend I ended up spending £200+ on car cleaning products, DA polisher and some £70 wax!

And that's as far as I've got with her! It will be at FCS so look out for me!
I've spent enough on it now so I'm saving for a 172/182 when my renewals due.
Bought it for £2200 with only 36k on the clock so I'm well happy! And feels very quick compared to my old 1.2!

get a set of clear side repeaters and colour code the bumpstrips, front bumper and door handles please

Yea that's what I'm thinking! Where to get clear side repeaters? The white wheels do go well when you look at it from the back, but when you look from the front I think it looks a bit out of place, but onna silver RS I think white wheels would look the tits!

Love that, very nice indeed.

Looks like you put a fair amount of ££ into a 1.6, but it's not like most of it can't go into the sport you say you want. Not to mention you'd sell the bumper and spoiler for good ££ too.

Im loving the white speedlines mate! They looks awesome! Only thing i would do would be to ditch the cage, im not a fan of cages at all! Ohh and CC side strips and front bumper then it will look tidy!

thanks for the comments all, ill be selling most of the mds soon as ive just phoned the insurance up and they want an extra 900 ontop of 2000 im paying to insure a 182 which is quite reasonable for someone with 1ncb and 2 bumps.
