Tramlining?

  SchwepTek™
My car has recently started to do this a lot more than usual.

Especially noticeable when accelerating hard or braking, the car veers off to either the left or right.

I have newish PE2s all running current pressures, what else can i look at?

Could be loads of things. When my car was all over the place under braking it was wishbone balljoints & tracking.

problems with incorrect tracking can show up in a few ways and it's worth doing it first as it's the cheapest one to cross off the list (although you'll end up having to do it again if you dismantle and renew any of the suspension components)

Have replaced all above parts and more for oe and checked tracking too the car feels alot better but not perfect as it should compared to previous cars. Basically I still get the same symptoms. The rear subfame mounts cup holes wear/elongate, these are my next fix as I believe along with poor top mount design the excess movement creates excessive tramlining, castor and camber changes mainly under acceleration cornering and hard braking. I knew something wasent quite as tight or precise as turn in should be. IMO the handling seemes very floatey or sloppy at points due to this fact after rebuilding nearly all the moving parts and not eradicating this fault.
