Trip computer reset on engine start

noticed today i can turn the key twice and the trip computer is fine then i start the engine and it resets? is that a setting or do i need a new battery?

Battery is most likely.

It was the battery when this happend to mine, wont be long till you get stranded!

I would say battery aswell. When you do get one I would recommend Euro Car Parts to be the cheapest for a good Bosch Battery.

is there anyone from renault that can conferm this? because i was trying to get this on warrenty but the garage isnt having any of it. they say "cause the car is starting fine there is nothing wrong with the battery" etc.
