Oil ok didnt go off untill i pressed the trip button,MPG read 5.5 and Miles till next fill up was 35 even though it has over half a tank so i pressed the reset button on the dials and now everything is 0 including the miles left till next fill up.When i turn the car on now oil ok doesnt appear.

Any ideas?Could it be the battery?

Done some searching and cant work out if it is the battery or not,shouldnt it still say the amount of miles till fillup regardles?

Just checked today and it now comes up with oil ok which goes off after 30 seconds

Trip computer playing up was a sign my battery was dieing Chris

Cheers not sure if its worth paying £50 if it might not solve the problem

50quid solved my problem, but it was only forgetting what it had when i turned the engine off, sounds slightly different to your problem.
