Trip , fuel consumption etc resetting

I have a problem with the trip , fuel consumption, fuel used display resetting itself. Also the range always show '0000000'. The car is a Phase 1 172.

Any ideas plz ?

On mine it meant the battery was running low. New battery sorted it out.

Battery is dead. It will leave you stranded one day with no notice. Get it changed all will be sorted.

I was wondering why mine was doing this. Then it wouldn't start t'other day. New battery ahoy!
