Trophy M25 J6 to J9

  BMW M6 & 172 Phase 1
Absolutly mint Trophy this morning reg ****PHY, with Nurburgring sticker and non-standard exhaust. You pulled along side me on Caterham bypass and I followed you to Junction 9 M25.

Yes that was me.

I was planning on posting this morning that I came across a very tidy black 182 with Recaro's but you beat me to it.

Has your car been lowered?

Yours is the best example of a Trophy ive seen on the road. What exhaust was that, didnt sound too loud but looked great.

It's a Janspeed full system inc sports cat.

Are you based in Caterham? You will have to come along to the next Bromley meet, would be good to have a closer look at your car.

Yes I live in Caterham, wasn't aware of any Bromley meets, but have been to a few in Epsom. Will keep an eye out for them. Just checked your website and realised it was a Janspeed, very nice system, im after something similar as i don't want anything too noisy on the motorway travelling to Ascot every day! Very nice previous collection of cars by the way :)

The E46 M3 is a great car but I find that my Trophy puts a smile on my face more often than the M3 ever did. The trouble with the M3 is that you have to be doing silly speeds to get the same buzz.

Yes in a straight line the M3 is so much faster but in real life the little Clio is quicker. Only the other weekend my mate turned up in an E46 M3 and on the local country lanes and 'a' roads he couldn't keep up with me. :rasp:

There are times I miss the M3, but the little Trophy has tons of character!

I'm also enjoying using a manual box & clutch again.

IMHO Evo magazine were correct to put the Trophy in first place above the M3.
