Cup 172
Hi I'm chris from Glasgow and purchased my trophy in June 2013
The car itself is on 52k and is in good nick apart from a couple things cosmetically.
Here she is on the day I got her. Wheels had been refurbed..badly in black as had the front and rear diamonds along with the bullets. Not great but I will be replacing these.
so as I have use of another car at the moment I had some plans for her:
- steering wheel retrim
- new interior trims
- replace various parts ie diamonds etc
- wheel refurb to factory colour
- front and rear bumper painted along with bonnet
- a good detail
- a service (doesn't need one but I'll be doing this for piece of mind)
so I started the ball rolling and started ripping her apart!
also gave the interior a good clean/scrub. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to cars and like them to be mint inside and out
Stuck in an OMP harness too to try it out. I'd also recommend cleaning the seat belts if yours are dirty, really easy and well worth it.
trap them outside and soak them in fairy/apc and scrub them with a toothbrush or equivalent. Mine came up great.
sourced a set of 15 inch steelies off a megane and purchased them for a steal. Prefer the car sitting on wheels rather than axle stands.
some nice fitment!
the turinis are in good nick, the picture doesn't show the poor condition of the paint however. It has gone 'milky' and looks horrible close up
bumpers and wheels etc should be back soon for fitting then she'll be good to go can't wait to get her on the back roads. Thanks for reading
