Lol! I remember when Gally first got the FRP. I posted that if I won the lottery I'd drive to Scotland and film his reaction as I smash it it with a hammer. Then buy him a new one.

Lol, wouldnt be doing it to wind others up, but Im sure it would do so in that case.

I just much prefer the look of a phase 1 (so long as it is black/white/red/yellow not silver which I dont think suits them) but on the other hand the trophy is the technically superior car, better track width, stronger bearings, better suspension, equal length shafts, better exhaust manifold etc and even a decent set of seats as standard.
So to me the ultimate combination would be either a phase 1 with all the trophy mechanicals, or a trophy with a phase 1 front, and seeing as I like the red and its easier to find a low mile trophy than a low miles phase 1, it would seem the logical place to start as then you just need to fit a front end and paint it.
And for engine spec I would probably go rs2 on slightly hotter cams and the standard box with a quaiffe diff.

You built a rear engined nova with 500 odd bhp. I'm sure swapping round a front end would be a walk in the park Buy mine and give it a go? Lol.

Yeah I have seen the red phase 1, looks superb.

Its not that its difficult which is putting me off, its that its expensive, I have the ability to do it all easily enough but not the spare money, lol, especially as I would have to pay for the paint as I am really not good at spraying, mechanical stuff yes, painting no.
