Tuning a 1.2 16v

Dont laugh, but av got a 1.2 16v dynamique, got a pipercross filter on it with a k-tec relocation pipe, thats all i got engine wise, gettin a full stainless steel cat back system in a few weeks, was just wonderin what else i could do appart from superchippin it coz it aint really worth it coz its only a 1.2.

Forget it, theres a turbo coming out but thats a bit extreme.

Concentrate on the suspension and styling.

I agree, there is no point in wasting money to be a tiny little bit quicker because at the end of the day its still a 1.2, and sorry to say it will be beaten by the majority of cars on the road.

Having a 1.2, you should go for styling rather than power. If you want power go and buy yourself a faster car.

Is there really a turbo comin out?

There is indeed, circa 110bhp (but with scope of 130+). If you perhaps removed the interior and took other weight saving measures it would be quickish but still not amazing.

I used to have a 1.2 8v. One of the most noticable mods I got was a FSE powerboost valve. Once it was set up properly it made a noticeable diff. I found I didnt have to drop throu the gears every time I had to slow down/speed up slightly.

cool mate, how much do they boost valves cost?

Not sure. Think it was about £100 fitted. Just be sure they set it up correctly. When I first got it, it was a little better. Had it rrd a month or so later and he had a tinker with it and that made a much more noticable difference.
