I always wanted Rotrex (one guy from Italy made 160bph form a 1.4 14V ph2 clio2)

but its still to expensive.
On the other hand Vortech offers similar solution for half that price (should be around 1000GBP for You guys)

Not sure about Vortech but Rotrex can be powered from aux belt, more advanced but comes with higher price.
All you need to do is remove AC make custom mount and "Plug'n'Play"
Now for cons and pros:
+ no need for special exhaust manifold
+ no need for all the pipework
+ no need for oli pipework to the charger (it's self lubricating thats for Rotrex not sure about Vortech)
+ no need for Intercooler (You can skip one or add it later for better gains)
+ power from the bottom (engine starts, charger starts, no turbo lag)
- higher price
- less gains than with the turbo
- not much projects to learn from
Lots of stuff on the net about turbo vs. supercharger
I'm planingto get one sometime
but its a project for next few years.
Cams and 182 exhaust manifold go in in few weeks so we'll se the results
If I'm not happy with it I'll be saving money for that Vortech
