turbo for clio 172 phase 2?

£6k or so for a proper turbo setup and about270hp.
However the engine and gearbox arn't the best starting points better dropping a VAG 1.8T engine in with 6 speed box for about £8k then you've got a stronger engine and box and cheaper tunning route.

Or you could just buy an audi which has already got a 1.8T engine in it and tune that.

It's possible and I've seen a few kits for the 172 but at around 5-6k is it really worth it....fwd car is going to have a lot to deal with as well as the gearbox/drivehafts etc.

I've just come from a turbo car and it is fun but lots of maintainance needed to keep everything working properly!

Yup like an S3 which i will own at some point early next year

Just Speak to K-tec (David) or BB Tuning - Andy? they will give you all the info on the F4r Turbo conversions that they offer.

speak to J3ned for advice about the audi install, but i think he is sick of people pestering him about it who aren't serious.

if you have £6000 to spend then you are serious, if you haven't, you aren't.
