Turbo header vs. stock manifold





Bigger cross sectional area so more air can flow into the engine.

More air (assuming fuel flow is up to it) = more power

The standard car manifolds are resticltive so removing the restriction means less wasted power (pressure) trying to overcome the restriction on a small manifold.

Also a smaller manifold would get very hot (more than the part can take) and so break a bigger one is stronger built so can hold the increased pressure and heat back.

Think thats all right anyway.
